0 komentar
Mr.Fix -In this 'How Do I Fix' I'm going to give you the most complete guide to speeding up the BlackBerry Storm. This will be done by freeing up some memory and hiding and/or deleting unused apps. I'm currently on my 3rd BlackBerry Storm and have at times become very frustrated with snails pace at which this phone sometimes operates. After following all these steps and doing some regularly you'll undoubtedly see a massive improvement in the speed at which the device runs. Please comment if this article is helpful to you and recommend to friends who are having similar experiences and this could help.
please note that when I say "Option Key" I'm referring to the second key on the bottom of the device

  • First,Closing running applications  Although you don't see the applications open on the screen, many apps that you open are still running in the background. This will slow your device down a lot. Follow these steps to close them. Some will always be running.

Click on the app within this box and close it out from there.

Mr.Fix Tips For A Fast Computer

  • Install and Run an Anti-Virus Tool

Computer viruses are programs that adversely affect the performance of your machine.  You must protect your PC from virus attacks by installing and running anti-virus software.  Anti-virus software regularly scans the system, identifies the viruses and eliminates them.  You can easily download free anti-virus software from the Internet.

  • Run Anti-Spyware Software

A spyware is a program that installs itself on your system without your consent and interferes in your interaction with your computer.  Besides being a security threat, spyware also hampers the functionality of your machine.  To counter this, you can download an anti-spyware program from the Internet for free and run it on a regular basis to scan and remove malicious spyware programs.

  • Clean Your Registry

The registry is a database that stores all configuration information of a Windows operating system related to installed hardware and software, user profiles, and system settings. It is imperative to clean your registry regularly to maintain smooth functioning of your machine.  Experts recommended that you use a top-rated registry cleaner tool to regularly scan and clean your registry.

  • Clean Your Hard Drive

It is likely that your computer will have a substantial number of unused and unneeded files stored on it. These files take up a lot of space on your hard drive.  So, why keep them? Run the free, built-in, Disk Cleanup utility to get rid of these files.  Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup and follow the prompts.

  • Defragment Your Hard Drive

Over time, the files on your computer get fragmented.  As a result, the computer takes more time in retrieving the file.  To avoid this, regularly defragment your hard disk.  Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Defragmenter.  Start with highlighting the drive you want to clean up and then select Analyze.  Once this is complete, chose Defragment.  Remember, defragmentation takes time.  So do it when you can afford to be away from your computer for an hour or more. If your computer has problems defragging you can try doing it in Safe Mode ( Hold down F8 when starting up ).

  • Increase Your Computer’s Memory

Applications require Random Access Memory or RAM to run.  If your system is more than a couple of years old or while purchasing you chose a minimal RAM option, then it would be a good idea to upgrade your RAM to at least 1 GB or more.  Upgrading RAM won’t cost you much and it will help your PC run applications much faster.
  • Re-format Your Hard Drive

If, after using all the above steps, your system still performs poorly then you can choose to re-format your hard drive. This method should be used only as a last resort, and you must be very clear about it.  Backup all your data that exists on the hard drive because reformatting will erase all information that is stored on the hard drive.  You must handle this process with great care and before attempting it is recommended that you refer to online help tutorials for step to step guidance on to how to reformat your drive.

How to Fix My Digital Camera Dropped Into Water

Mr.Fix - Digital cameras are convenient, but unfortunately accidents can happen. Contact with water is a fast way to ruin a digital camera. Dropping a camera into water will cause damage and usually voids the warranty, resulting in the need for expensive repairs or replacement. If the exposure to water is limited, it may be possible to restore the camera to working condition with some patience. While major repairs need to be performed by a qualified expert, a few simple steps can be taken at home to see if your camera will be able to work again.

Mr.Fix Says,

Turn the camera off. You do not want any power going to the wet circuitry. Your camera has a better chance of surviving immersion if there was no power to cause a short circuit when it fell in the water.
Remove the batteries and the memory card from the camera. Leave the battery compartment and memory card slot open so that any accumulated water can evaporate.
Wipe any external water from the camera and remove any lenses or attachments, if possible. This will prevent further condensation from forming in the camera.
Place the camera in a bowl and cover it with dry white rice. The rice will absorb moisture. Check the rice every few days, until the rice is dry and there is no sign of moisture.
Replace the batteries and memory card, then turn on the camera. If the camera does not work, it may require more extensive repair performed by a professional.

  1. Click "Start." Click "Control Panel."
  2. Go to "System and Maintenance." Go to "Administrative Tools."Double-click the "Services" option in this panel. Go through the services list to find "Print Spooler." Double-click "Print Spooler" to launch the properties menu.
